Sociability Care CIC
Sociability Care CIC supports individuals challenged by disability and/or prematurity by providing three core services, training and consultancy, a fortnightly support group for individuals with disabilities and their family members (Looking Forward) and a volunteer led sibling support service (Noah’s Star).
Sociability Care are a multi award-winning training provider. As part of our commitment to reduce discrimination of individuals with disabilities we provide training and consultancy support to organisations to improve their awareness of disabilities and to support health and social care providers ensure they are compliant with their regulators.
Our support group, Looking Forward tackles negative attitudes and discrimination that surrounds disability. We reduce feelings of social isolation, promote independence and develop skills.
Noah’s Star provides support to siblings of babies who have been born prematurely or are experiencing health issues. This enables children to receive emotional support and encourage family bonds during a stressful experience. The support is provided both on a 1:1 basis and through a group facility using volunteers.
